How to speed up firefox browser

firefox_logoMozilla FireFox is one of the most successful browser and most prefer by the professionals, I am hoping we’ll soon get Firefox on our mobile phones. I personally thinks that firefox speed is quite fine, though it is quite annoying when firefox crash down but thanks to mozilla most of the time I was able to recover my previous sessions but when I was unable to recover previous sessions then I only say “WTF”.

While reading universefirefox.com I found very interesting tips to speed up fire fox browser.

  1. Open Firefox, and type about:config in the address bar. Don’t worry about the warning that comes out.
  2. about-config_warning

  3. Use the filter above to find network.http.pipelining and set it to True by double clicking on it.
  4. Create a new boolean value named network.http.pipelining.firstrequest and set that to True, as well.
  5. Find network.http.pipelining.maxrequests, double click on it, and change its value to 8.
  6. Now look for network.http.proxy.pipelining and again set it to True.
  7. Create two new integers named nglayout.initialpaint.delay and content.notify.interval, setting them to 0.

Now restart your browser and check a few heavy-loading websites to see if those changes worked or not.
