Nokia: Maemo only one device in 2010?
Only a few weeks ago, in fact, Nokia has marketed his brand new Nokia N900, the first smartphone based on OS Maemo5.
The device is certainly innovative, and the general public has accepted it in a decidedly positive: the N900 are lots of sellers and the opinions of those who have tried are all very positive.
In short, Nokia had to do something to change the cards on the table, and Maemo there seemed to be successful.
Unfortunately, it seems that Nokia is not very convinced of this OS.
A company spokesman, in fact, said today that Nokia has no intention of abandoning the good old Symbian OS, which, however, has now become too old to adapt to the new touchscreen smartphone.
The latest rumors in the 2010 Nokia plans to release a single smart phone based on Maemo, which is the successor to N900 without a physical keyboard, which has been much debated in recent months but that still was not too exposed to the general public .
So, lovers of the Nokia N900 and its OS, you risk finding yourself quickly abandoned the house in Finland. Obviously, for the moment these are only unconfirmed rumors, but if so we should really worry. Once that Nokia leads the market something innovative, leaving it so?
