Headweb released today details of its upcoming iPhone Application. Headweb is working on a service that will make it possible to rent and watch movies directly on your iPhone or iPod touch. Since 2007 it has been possible to buy and rent movies directly on your computer through the movie service Headweb. Now the service will be launch soon for iPhone.

Since it is not yet possible to rent movies via iTunes in some countries, we expect that the new service from Headweb will fulfill a void in many film fans worldwide.

“The date for the launch of the new iPhone application has yet been set but we expect that the release will take place before summer.” Headwebs founder Peter Alvarsson.

Before the application can be downloaded from the App Store, Apple approves it. This is something that Headweb welcomes.

“We have seen that more and more like the App Store applications have been approved by Spotify example. So we believe and hope that we get Headweb application is approved quickly. “Says Peter Alvarsson.

Application, which will be free, will make it possible to rent and watch movies, but you will also have the opportunity to watch film trailers, movie evaluates and revises your Headweb account directly through your iPhone.
