by Skipper on May 25, 2010

Yesterday alliance of Nokia and Yahoo was announced  in a press conference which was streamed on the internet. Some say it will be a successful alliance, others will be a huge hole in the water, but what is it?

This time Nokia and Yahoo has join hands to bring up some new services in the mobile world this alliance will be really helpful for both companies. Main reason of the alliance is to bring mobile and web more closer.

Both companies will start their work from Instant Messaging, Maps and E-Mail. Nokia will take the whole area of satellite maps of the experience already acquired with Ovi Maps, while Yahoo! will enhance e-mail, chat and instant messaging that will converge on Ovi Mail and chat “powered by Yahoo!.

Obviously the account Ovi and the Yahoo! Will gradually be integrated, in particular, for the first time, users will have access to Ovi some of Yahoo! While the top will not occur otherwise.

What do you guys think about this alliance?
