More than 225,000 applications in the App Store works fine on IPAD, but several require special adaptation to operate optimally and support the new and bigger screen.
Programs specially optimized and developed for IPAD there are more and more. According MacStories there are now 10,000 applications for IPAD.
78 percent of the programs are payment programs, while the remaining 22 percent are free, writes MacStories. This means that there are already several programs dedicated to IPAD than there is to WebOS, BlackBerry OS and Nokia’s Ovi Store.
Since the App Store was launched in 2008 it took five months before there were as many programs iPhone. The largest category of specialized programs to IPAD is playing. Right now there are 2,107 IPAD-optimized game.
