Facebook Goes to War Against Google

by Mr. Panda on June 30, 2010

Google and Facebook can really be about to cross swords . Because if persistent rumors are true , then the two firms actually want to nibble market share from each other.

Facebook has slowly crept in on Google’s home turf . So searches. It happened with the launch of Facebook Open Graph Search. Facebook will not create an algorithm that can happen to Google , but Facebook may instead create a search engine that uses the Facebook users to find the most relevant content.

Site AllFacebook , for example, noticed that in some cases results dolls up in Facebook searches, which did not on Facebook. The dolls alone up in search results because customize many people have clicked ” yes “to that they appear on a website , article or any other web- content, where Facebook’s ” Like “button is embedded.

Although Facebook’s human edited to compete with Google on some fronts , so lags Facebook’s experience also in the area .

Facebook’s search results are far from transparent and simple to read. It is an area that Bing, Google and Yahoo for many years has refined. So to think along new lines , if Facebook will push for market share in search market.

As Search Engine Land writes:

“If Facebook believes that with this declares war on Google, so it corresponds to that they have put a boat in the lake to fight against Google’s armada . ”

Google may also
While Facebook tries to intercept some of Google’s market share, so is Google going to eat up on Facebook’s territory.

Recent rumors say that we are soon going to use a service called Google Me. According to the jungle drums , then Google Me a direct competitor to Facebook. So a social network . Google already has experience in this field through Orkut , although primarily used in South America.

Google has not confirmed the new service , but a former manager at Facebook is convinced that there is some truth . In ask a forum He has combined his knowledge and guesswork about Google’s plans.

“Google has realized that Buzz was not enough and that they need to build social networks in full size and with many more features. The user certainly Facebook as a template . They probably thought that Facebook would eventually lose its popularity and that Facebook would never be a competitor, but Facebook’s success is not stopped, and now they are afraid , “writes the former Facebook chief Adam D’ Angelo.

If Facebook reversal must start to fear Google’s counteroffensive , then Google developers present some worked through services, it is no secret that none of the company’s former social services, Buzz, Google Wave and Orkut, are on their way to world domination.
But Facebook has to take notice of the possible challenge from Google. The hundreds of millions of current Gmail users are a scary face using mass which can become Google Me- users from day one.

Facebook has about 400 million users.

Samsung Intercept July 24, 2010 at 11:32 AM

Is there a abstract of what’s totally different between the Intercept at Android 2.1 and the Second at Android 2.1? The hardware seems to be much the same, though the slider keyboards are different. As a Second owner, the Intercept leaves me dissapointed with Samsung because the Intercept seems to have a Android upgrade path whereas the just about identical Second does not (left behind at 2.1).
