Apple use Nokia’s famous advertising slogan, “Connecting People” in the marketing of its new iPhone 4 mobile.

Apple and Nokia has since last autumn been in open war, and both companies have sued each other for a number of cases of abuse of patents. Apple’s new iPhone 4-design is not something Nokia can suffer.

“It’s all about connecting people,” said Apple’s vice president Scott Fors Tall when he was in a promotional video fascinated by the video call feature in new iPhone 4.

Especially the last part of “Connecting People” asperity Nokia, which in several countries have patent on the slogan, writes the Finnish newspaper HBL.

According to Nokia’s Director of Communications Tapani Kaskinen Connecting People is a protected trademark in many countries, including Apple’s U.S. homeland.

It is unknown if Nokia also will sue Apple in this context.
