Kinect: In 2010 on Xbox360 and In 2011 on PC and TV Boxes?

by Skipper on June 24, 2010

The predictions made last year by Bill Gates according to which the device “Project Natal ” would have a bright future even outside the universe gaming the Xbox 360, are today an authoritative confirmation.

During an interview with colleagues Engadget indeed, Adi Berenson, Vice President PrimeSense , the Israeli company holding the patent for the new ” camera of the wonders “of X360 , said that during 2011 the system of two sensors at the base of Kinect will star in a new family of devices designed to ” sensitize “any multimedia environment on the PC and box television (whether decoder or media- recorder) .

The only discriminant between these new members of the family and the device Kinect ” more ” that will come out exclusively on Xbox 360 before the end of the year is the absence of hardware purely gaming , as the camera RGB , the base engine and voice recognition through microphone “intelligent ” .

After terror (not to mention sick ) all gaming consoles endangering the survival of their joystick, and , Kinect prepares to place traps in a PC environment to make out , once and for all , the beloved mouse and you, who you cheer ?
