When you get LG’s new little touch mobile GD880 Mini in your hand, it works actually quite delicious . Unlike many other manufacturers of touch- phones are LG gone after a very compact design and it can be really felt. A width of less than 48 millimeters is almost unheard of among touch mobiles , but nevertheless makes the model really easy to handle with just one hand. Especially people with slightly smaller hands will definitely be able to feel this.
Small and delicious
With the small size does the weight of 99 grams, not particularly easy. Quite the opposite , and metal edges give it a little exclusive appearance. The back is made of soft -touch plastic, and few places can make themselves a little bit when you press it . But it is actually the only thing I just have to stay on the design and feel of the model.
The model is very edgy , but with the small size and thickness of 10.6 millimeters do not clumsy , and personally I find it actually quite nice to look at and have in hand.
Good, but small screen
The screen does not disappoint . Due to the small size of mobile phone is a relatively modest 3.2 inches, but still fills most of the front. Beyond the screen is also only a camera for video calls and a speaker on the front of the model – here are no buttons.
The following today’s standards, modest screen size , however, has not gone beyond the screen resolution , which reads the entire 480 x 854 pixels. It is a solution, you normally only find on phones with screens of at least 3.5 inches. Actual screen comes close to the new iPhone ‘s 4 solution , currently . should be the highest in a mobile right now. iPhone 4 boasts a resolution of 330 pixels per inch , but actually LG GD880 Mini is not far behind with 306 pixels per inch . Because of the high -resolution says things are really sharp on the screen.
This is a TFT screen , so the colors are not quite as nice as the newer AMOLED displays. Recital angles are not quite as good, but they are not bad. Just not the best on the market.
Less sensitive
This is a capacitive touch screen with support for multi-touch , but sensitivity is not quite as high as I have seen on other mobiles with capacitive touch screens . It is experienced not just as a problem in service and some may even prefer that the model is not quite so easily captures unintended touches . The screen is still more sensitive than a resistive touch screen , which usually have a slightly harder push to react.
