In second quarter of 2010, it is reported there were more phones with Google’s Android operating system sold more than the phones with Apple’s IOS.
The new figures from research firm Gartner shows that Apple in the second quarter sold 8.74 million iPhones which gives Apple a market share of 14.2 percent.
In the same quarter were sold 10.6 million mobile phones with Google Android system, which gives Google a market share of 17.2 percent.
Gartner says however that it only expects mobile sales and not the other IOS-based products as the iPod touch and IPAD.
The biggest player in the mobile market continues to Nokia, with its many Symbian devices that total sits at 41.2 percent of the market with sales of 25 million mobiles.
