Another achievement by Apple and its innovative App Store. Apple App Store was Born in
July 10, 2008 and within one year it made 50000 applications available for download and over a billion of apps were downloaded from app store within a year.
On Aug. 28 2010 Fortune reported that the applications have reached the round figure of 250.000. Apple won first place as the number of applications available on its Store, followed by the JPA and Google Android Market.
