Apple with the release of firmware 3.0 for iPhone introduced the Spotlight page just like on Mac, it allows you to search for any item on our iPhone ( songs, emails, contacts, apps, etc. ..). Many users do not use this feature and many others do not like to have the Spotlight page because it is uncomfortable.
An application Tweak NoSpot is available for free on Cydia which eliminates the Spotlight from your iPhone. After installing the app reboot your iPhone and you will not find Spotlight page after restarting. To return to default just delete NoSpot app from your iPhone.
