Google Enabling 200000 Android Phones Every Day

by Mr. Panda on August 5, 2010

Google CEO Eric Schmidt, has announce in a press conference that the company is enabling a big volume of 200000 Android phones every day. This is 25% more than 160,000 pace of daily activity recorded at the end of July. Growth is also backed by the news that Android have passed  the market share of the BlackBerry and the iPhone during the spring in U.S.

It is a pace that Schmidt describes as ” incredibly phenomenal” although there is no evidence to predict how long you can continue with this pace. Currently there would have been over 18 million Android devices, that is twice as that of the Apple iPhone recorded in last quarter (8.4 Million Share Units).
