Step 1: Open a Sharing Preferences pane located in System Preferences to start the proceedings.
Step 2: In sharing preferences tick mark the File Sharing option.
Step 3: After tick marking the File Sharing click on the + button shown in the Shared Folders box.
Step 4: Then select the folder which you want to share between the two systems.
Step 5: In order to share files between the two systems you need to click the the Share files and folder using SMB (Windows) option and you can also grant the request that who can access these files.
