After testing solutions for major reading on Android, we lacked a dominant player in the market. Although in theory, available only for U.S. users, we could test the application for Android Nook Barnes & Noble. Brother (enemy) to Kindle for Android, the two applications are similar in their strengths as their weaknesses.
Nook for Android has been designed with great care. The interface is clear, visually pleasing and easy to use. The library syncs with your account, you will find your previous purchases and whatever the platform. However, the classification system can be improved for large drives. Only three types of classification are available by purchase order, by title and author along with potential storage, but storage by category or by alphabetical grouping have been overlooked in the case.

At the reading, Nook outperforms the application for Android Amazon. If the options are only basic fonts and orientation can be changed, the result is cleaner and gives more eager to read “rounding the corner”, where its competitor is more austere. Moreover, animating new page, although “gadget” is particularly realistic.
On the catalog, there is growing day by day even if it does not compete (yet) with Amazon. It is important to note that the books are available only in English, which repel many. The purchase accomplished since the mobile browser and not from the application itself. Unfortunately, it is only possible to see in their library books purchased on the platform and you can not unify with your own collection. Maybe for the next update! We would also like to test the function LendMe but we did not have two phones to test the loan books …
In conclusion, Nook for Android is one of the best applications on the Android mobile reading and we regret that it has not yet invested in the French market to enjoy.
To try the application, it is only here ! Warning it is particularly delicious in place.
