Rumor: iPod nano without clickwheel

by Mr. Panda on August 28, 2010

Shawn Wu of Kaufman Brothers said that Apple recently bought components for a new iPod nano, which among other click wheel is gone.

Components should, according to Wu indicate a radical new design of IPAD nano.

According to Wu, the new iPod nano more square and so it has no click wheel, writes iPodNN. Wu says, however, nothing about what should replace the click wheel, but it could be a sort of touch screen.

The square design of the iPod nano is supported by images from the Chinese manufacturer of equipment for iPods X-Doria, which iLounge has discovered from the network. As you can image on the side, the lower case is somewhat different in shape, if it is a case for the new iPod nano. This case below is the new iPod touch.

Wu do not believe that Apple will present a new Apple TV Wednesday, when Apple provides news conference.
