Blackberry version of twitter has been updated to version 0.985. The new version includes some improvements in application as well as the bugs in the previous version has also been fixed. But a bad news is that it does not work on Blackberry OS 6.
Following are the changes in new version 0.985 as compare to previous one.
- Fixed an issue where the timeline is blocked.
- Fixed a problem where @replies show up late.
- Improved memory management.
- More efficient scrolling.
- No longer need on the device time being correct.
- Add a button ‘ mentions ‘ in user profiles, which leads to a timeline of tweets that mention the users.
- Opportunity to decide which notifications to use or not.
- Added ‘ Delete All ‘ menu to ‘hashtag Picker’
- Restored the ability to upload more tweets in timeline.
- Fixed a bug in geolocation system to recognize that prevented some phone towers.
- The ‘enter’ key works as a click on the trackball.
- Fixed a problem that caused Bug in writing when composing a tweet on Storm.
- Improved the quality of the icons.
- Choose the larger icons even on older phones.
- Fixed a problem with the sound alert.
- Fixed a problem with the count of unread tweets, if the application is in the background.
- Fixed an issue where some users posting empty tweets.
- The HTML entities are converted to Unicode characters correctly.
- Improved management of unread messages.
- Restored the ability to select an SSL connection with Twitter.
