Firefox Updated to Version 7.01 | Download

by Skipper on October 1, 2011

Mozilla has released a small security update for version 7 of the Firefox browser and have made available the preliminary version of version 8. Some new features for future releases are interesting anyway: now, for example, Twitter has been added in the section of the search engines.

Mozilla has updated Firefox 7 to version 7.01. If you already have the latest version 7.0, can possibly install the update by selecting “Firefox” menu the entry “Information”: it will be checked for updates and these can be installed by clicking on the button “install updates”. The update to release 7.01 solves a minor issue that, in some cases, signified the add-on.

The developers in the meantime continue with the release of new updates and constant rhythms have also made available Version 8 (A beta for the moment). Some new features for future releases are interesting anyway: now, for example, Twitter has been added in the section of the search engines among which you can search directly in the navigation bar and query for keywords. From the section “General” preferences you can now select “Show Windows and tabs from last session” when you start Firefox. For compatibility, security and application now always asks confirmation when the user decides to install extensions or add-ons of any third party. The management of panels (or rather “tabs” as he prefers to call Mozilla) has improved: the reordering of the elements is easier, no more references to small indicator to show where a tab is positioned and preview created during moving the window is better.
