According to Nielsen, a company that conducts market research, the amount of iOS smartphone has increased from 30% to 37% in the last 3 months.
Google OS increased from 46.3% to 51.7%. The growth was largely at the expense of RIM with its BlackBerry , which has risen from 14.9% to 6%. Comparing the data on sales of smartphones last quarter, Apple has jumped from 25.1% to 44.5%, while Android has fallen from 61.6% to 46.9% and RIM is from 7.7% to 4.5%.
Given the enormous success of the iPhone 4S in the fourth quarter, which ended before the launch of Android 4.0 devices, and has seen RIM still stuck in the great desert of the transition from its old operating system to the new BB10, the numbers do not were surprising.
Do you think Blackberry, with its new operating system, can earn a few slices of Apple or Android market and already have taken the flight? Please let us know through the comments!
