TinyUmbrella is upgraded to version 5.10.14 allows you to save BBTickets. The powerful tool now allows you to save the new certificates for the latest devices.
TinyUmbrella is a famous part of the jailbreak because it allows, among other things, to save the SHSH certificate of iOS versions installed on their devices. In this way, even updating to a new firmware, not just leaving the appropriate software, you can downgrade to older iOS versions.
The new version of the tool allows you to save the BBTicket of iPhone 4, iPhone 4S and all versions of the iPad. The developer Notcom had anticipated from this time, although it was not clear about the real usefulness. According to the hacker ih8sn0w relate to the operation of the baseband devices and therefore could be very useful for future unlocking.
TinyUmbrella 5.10.14 does not add any new button in the GUI and allows you to save BBTicket separately. Saving as usual SHSH certificates on your computer will automatically save even BBTicket. Below are the steps to save the new certificates.
- Download TinyUmbrella 5.10.14 for Windows or for OSX directly from these links: [WIN] [OSX]
- Connect the device with your Mac or PC.
- Go to the Advanced tab and tick the option “Overwrite existing SHSH files on Save SHSH “.
- Then you can proceed by clicking on the Save SHSH button.
When Apple will release a new update of iOS, you can restore the previous version only for a few weeks yet. Over this time, to restore a device with an iOS version no longer certified, you will need YOUR SHSH certificate saved previously by TinyUmbrella and software such as iFaith.
