Google introduced Google Buzz yesterday which is similar to facebook/twitter etc, but within your gmail account. do you think it will catch on? It’s an interesting concept, but obviously not everyone has a Google account (perhaps this will be a reason to create one?). Will be interesting to see how well it takes off.
